Description
PLANIT Technology Group is currently seeking a Systems Programmer for a permanent position with our client in Baltimore, Maryland.

Job Description:
Provide analysis, creative solutions engineering and problem solving to implement data-exchange and system integration solutions. The successful candidate will interface with clients and will participate in the design, development, and implementation of dynamic solutions that support all departments, organizations, constituents, and strategic goals and mission.

Responsibilities:
* Implement data-exchange and system integration between databases and applications
* Work hands-on with ERP systems, web platforms including SharePoint, Blackboard, WebAdvisor, and SiteCore
* Provide analysis and design for effective solutions that facilitate processes and improve efficiency.
* Participate in requirements gathering and needs analysis.
* Perform web application development (especially .NET in SiteCore) and other coding/development
* Perform development work inside of the ERP Systems and Unidata and SQL Server databases

Required Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years performing integration and development work
* Strong database knowledge and ability especially with SQL Server (Unidata / PICK DB knowledge very helpful).
* Ability to produce clean, clear, and professional reports.
* Strong development skills including 3rd and 4th Generation Languages / Tools. UniBASIC, SharePoint, .NET, HTML, ASP, Visual Studio, Crystal Reports, and Microsoft Reporting Services (BI) knowledge helpful
* Familiarity with Web technologies, standards, languages, browsers, authoring tools and content management systems
* Ability to master new technologies quickly
* Excellent communication skills, consistently project a customer service orientation, and must continually project a professional image.
* Ability to work cooperatively and closely with peers who share associated technologies is a must.
* Imagination, creativity, and enthusiasm
* Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects, changing requirements.
* Some travel will be required. (conferences, trainings, or other events.)

Desires
* Bachelors degree in a Technology or IS related field (preferred but not required).
* Familiarity with Datatel systems very helpful
* Familiarity with SiteCore very helpful
