We have an immediate need for an Systems QA Analyst - Level 5

JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Job Functions -

.Lead level position for coordination and execution of all quality assurance testing activities related to a project.

.Lead will have to determine the application landscape

.Understand existing test bed (if any), understand the new requirements and specifications

.Determine complete scope, complexity and size of testing effort, possibly assign work out to subordinate testers, develop and execute test cases

.Ensure compliance with testing best practices and standards

.Report on QA status to the project team and upper management.



Minimum Requirement Details -

.7 to 10 years experience in the software QA and/or Development, with experience working on 3 or more projects from requirements inception to product release Experience with testing Web based applications developed in J2EE (Java) and/or .NET framework

.Proven success in testing large scale, multi-tiered, integrated systems.

.Project management (ensure that ambiguity reviews, test plans, and scripts are complete and accurate and that testing is executed on-time and within budget).

.Process management (insure that testing is performed in a consistent and traceable manner).

.Strong understanding of Oracle database and constructing/executing SQL queries

.Experience with Oracle database performance monitoring/tuning tools.

.Strong understanding of SQL Server database and constructing/executing SQL queries

.Experience with SQL Server performance monitoring/tuning tools.

.Experience with UNIX (Sun Solaris/HP) server navigation

.Experience running batch commands and reviewing output, logs, etc. on the UNIX platform.

.Experience with Windows Server navigation;

.Experience running batch commands and reviewing output, logs, etc. on the Windows platform.

.Experienced with Mercury Test Management tools (Quality Center, Test Director) and ClearQuest Defect Tracking tool, or similar defect tracking tools.

.Ability to work in cross-functional teams across multiple levels of the organization.

.Ability to work independently.

.Ability to multi-task.

.Strong verbal and written communication skills.



Preferred Qualification Details -

.Mainframe/DB2 testing experience

.Familiarity with XML and Web services testing HP Quick Test Pro test case automation experience (beyond simple record and playback methodology) Financial Services Industry experience.



Education Requirement Details -

.BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
