We have an immediate need for a Systems Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION
Looking for a Systems Specialist for a contract job!

Possible extension: Yes

Required Skills
Java J2EE experience
.Net or VB experience
SQL (DB2)
Good communication skills

Minimum Education: B.S. in Computer Science. Other 4 year science or technical degree will be considered.

Minimum Experience: 3 years software engineering experience

Assignment Details
Primary responsibility would be to design, develop and support WEB applications within the Test Data Management department supporting customers within the Scientific Labs and Proving Grounds organization.
Must have good understanding of Object Oriented design, WEB interfaces, databases and the SQL language.
Candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team and be a self starter. Initial assignment will be to support the conversion of a Visual Basic application to a .NET application.

The assignment will also entail supporting a Java based application that is used throughout the Scientific Labs and Proving Grounds organization.
