Description
Respond to internal customers who have reported issues with local technologies, including: pc’s, telephones, servers, and LAN. Investigates issues and should be able to correctly access the nature of the trouble, and the extent of the impact, ranging from malfunction of hardware devices, application issues, and network connectivity. Request assistance from higher-level positions when problem cannot be identified or corrected locally. Evaluates outage conditions and determine if other HTS group or vendor support is required. Complete adds/moves and changes in compliance with our service level agreements with the business. Conducts regular tests to gather data, identify problems of supported equipment. Performs system backups and restorations. Continue to develop proficiency in these areas through ongoing training, project participation, and interactions with peers. Familiarity with standard business concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experiences and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under general supervision. May draft departmental operating procedures and instructions for team members. Performs other related duties as assigned.df-tc

Experience/Skills
Associate degree in computer repair or equivalent. Must be able to independently identify and correct problems with computers. Should possess the ability to participate on projects, and, in some cases lead the team. This person requires 3-5 years computer technician experience.
