Description
This entry-level non-exempt position requires limited experience and a basic knowledge of technical concepts, practices and procedures. Duties require a variety of computing, data communication and telecommunication skills, and familiarity with various operating environments, applications and equipment. Works under close supervision and work is closely checked.

REPRESENTATIVE PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides basic end-user technical support including, but not limited to, configuring hardware, performing hardware/software installations, troubleshooting and correcting H/W and S/W problems, and resolving day-to-day system problems for client/customer and/or ACS end-users.

Works on basic assignments (and/or portions of larger, complex assignments) and perform a full range of basic and/or routine and primarily repetitive technical support activities.

Performs as a member of quick-response user-support team and generally works under deadlines.

Operates independently to resolve routine end-user problems, but with immediate supervision on more complex assignments.

Considerable end-user interface by phone and/or in-person.df-tc
