Job Description:

This intermediate-level professional, is a fully qualified individual contributor who applies a broad knowledge of technical concepts, practices and procedures in a team environment. Duties require a variety of analytical computing, data communication and telecommunication skills, as well as familiarity with various diverse operating environments, applications and equipment; depending upon the end-user(s) serviced. The incumbent works under general supervision and must always consider that errors at this level can cause delay, expense and/or disruption to the business.

REPRESENTATIVE PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide end-user remote technical support including, but not limited to, configuring hardware, performing hardware/software installations, troubleshooting H/W and S/W problems, and resolving day-to-day system problems for client/customer and/or ACS end-users.

Be a motivated self-starter working in a fast paced, results oriented environment sometimes involving difficult clientele. You will be expected to demonstrate analytical skills to solve difficult problems with the assistance of other team members, our internal processes combined with our troubleshooting documentation, as well as vendor documentation.

Work on fairly complex assignments (and/or portions of larger, complex assignments).

Perform a full range of technical support activities.

Perform as a member of quick-response user-support team and generally works under deadlines, operating independently to resolve end-user problems.

Be a clear speaking, customer focused, people-oriented, team player providing considerable end-user interface by phone.

Specific Requirements:

HIGH VOLUME TECHNICAL PHONE SUPPORT REQUIRED (100%).

HIGH RESOLUTION RATE FOR REMOTE ISSUES

Phone support required

Experience in use of remote tools for resolving technical problems

Previous knowledge and use of a ticketing system for tracking incidents, requests and calls

All other duties as assigned.

Desktop Applications
Candidates should have knowledge of and a medium level of troubleshooting proficiency in:
· Microsoft Office 2000, XP, 2003, 2007 products including MS Access, Microsoft Outlook, MS Project, MS Visio

Operating Systems
Candidates should have knowledge of and a high level of troubleshooting proficiency in:
· Windows 2000 (utilizing ''user'' level security rights)
· Windows XP (utilitizing ''user'' level security rights)
· MAC OSX a plus

Handheld/Wireless devices:
Candidates should have a good understanding of the technology behind these devices and some hands on would be a plus.
· Blackberry Handheld devices – different carriers and services
· iPhone – configuration and networking
· Symbol Handhelds – PDA wired and wireless applications support
· HP IPAQs
· Tablet PCs
· Wireless Laptop configuration
· Wireless Handhelds Support and configuration

Supporting devices using remote tools such as SMS Desktop Management installations and Remote Connection via Windows OS

Education and Typical Years of Experience:

Associate’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 3-5 years of related technical support experience
