Systems Verificaton/Calibration Handset Engineer

Working in lab environment. Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs.

Development and timely execution of test plans (integration, system, regression, etc.) across multiple hardware platforms for all software releases. Creation of test scripts to perform verification tests.

Hands on experience with wireless communication test sets (R&S CMU200, Agilent 8960) spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies/meters, etc.

Experience with wireless technologies including: GSM, CDMA, W-CDMA, HSUPA/HSDPA, UMTS, LTE.

5+ years or more of experience in writing software test plans, scripts, and their execution on platforms running Solaris, Linux, MAC/Windows OS.

Instrumentation Programming experience: Agilent VEE and/or LabVIEW, Visual Basic.

It is desired to have experience in mobile phone protocol stacks, SW configuration management tools such as ClearCase and Change Request management tools.

Ability to read and understand board schematics.

BSEE/BSCS required and MS/PhD degree is plus.
