We are looking a very experienced (15+ years in TCP/IP) network engineer for a long-term project (1-2+ years expected) to work for US Customs in Reston, VA. All resumes must be in by noon on Tuesday 3/7. Rates are negotiable based on experience. Interviews will be awarded based upon experience and rates. You will provide level 3 Networking support. Perform troubleshooting and resolution for an IP based network consisting of Cisco routers, switches, Cisco & Symantec firewalls, and IDS. Provide project expert level support to design and implement new network solutions within highly compressed schedules.

Through understanding of IP communications networks and their
components, specifically for IP addressing, VLAN design, Routing and switching, Access Lists, load balancing, and content switching Through understanding of Cisco Routers, Switches, and Firewalls. Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of network troubleshooting practices and tools, along with ability to work accurately under pressure.

TCP/IP 15+ years experience
Router/Switch/Firewall configuration & Implementation 10 + years Cisco Certifications would be a plus,
BS degree in computer science or equivalent is required.df-tc
