Summary of Job Function
Supports the development of individuals, teams and work initiatives. Provides the technical direction of the assigned work components for a product, platform or project. Negotiates with stakeholders to determine scope and budget of work activities which advance TSYS business objectives and client needs. Builds and maintains customer relationships.

Experience:
5 years Internet product or application development environment experience
3 years applications support operations experience
3 years financial services experience preferred
2 years management experience preferred


Essential Responsibilities
1. Supervisory responsibility over multiple team members performing skilled tasks. Team tasks may be highly specialized in nature in one or more functional areas. Provides direction and management for team member’s career growth and mastery of job responsibilities.
2. Assists management in guiding development and support activities for respective area to include problem resolution/management, application maintenance, project requests and system enhancements. Tracks projects or tasks for component(s) to keep on schedule and to adjust resource allocation based on work prioritization.
3. May serve as Subject Matter Experts for Components (or development and support for a single module) and must be able to guide understanding of customer requirements and impact for area (e.g. monetary impacts of module to client, impact to system changes and/or issues to TSYS and Client).
4. Oversees review of deliverables from the relevant TSYS processes (i.e., Service Center, Options, TMM, CDMET, and File Transfer) for content, accuracy, and potential system impacts. Has accountability for team members’ work.
5. Provides regular reporting to the Customer and Director on status of product/projects, work requests and process improvements. Participates in client meetings and TSYS sponsored forums.
6. Represents the department in various focus groups and Six Sigma Teams. Consults on approach to client billing for services and on-going products or features.
7. Implements approach to revenue generation for projects, products and features. May present recommendations to the Pricing Committee, Investment Decision Council or other approving bodies.
8. May plan or provide input on annual budget for cost center to include employment expense, client travel, and tools and resources needed to maintain high level of client service.
9. Conducts the RIGHT STEPS process, matching team member goals with department goals.

Education and Experience
Four year college degree and 8 or more years professional experience or 10 or more years professional experience is required. Previous management experience is required for leadership and previous experience managing teams or projects is required for matrix management. Some appropriate TSYS experience is preferred. Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.df-tc
