Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled, technically aggressive, well-rounded individual for an Oracle database administrative position. In this position, the individual will provide 24x7 operational and production support for databases of web-enabled applications. The position will monitor, performance tune, maintain and deploy application releases, maintain application components, maintain system processes, and other tasks as assigned in support of our environment.

Our environment consists of Oracle Enterprise databases ranging from Release 8i through 10g.
The position requires a very senior skill set in Oracle database administration and development, UNIX administration, UNIX shell scripting, database architecture, and application/system trouble-shooting.

Responsibilities
Perform database administration, performance tuning, and maintenance activities in support of business and technical requirements.
Work with analysts, developers, architects, and others as required to design, develop, and maintain logical and physical database objects while supporting applications and systems.
Provide 24x7 pro-active database support, monitoring, trouble-shooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution in support of applications and systems.
Participate in code reviews, qa/test sessions, and other activities or meetings as assigned in support of applications and systems
Comply with iSolutions configuration management standards and processes.
Comply with iSolutions data, database, and application security standards.
Complete team continuing education and training requirements.
Provide daily communication to team leadership and team/project members.
Comply with team documentation and tracking standards/processes.
Perform other tasks as directed by leadership.


Education/Experience
Four year college degree and 6 or more years professional experience or 8 or more years professional experience. Appropriate TSYS experience is preferred.
