Team Lead Technical Writer/Document Specialist needed for immediate opening!

In this role you would be responsible for the following:
  • Review/Edits - Writer must be able to review mechanical documents for the purpose of identifying problem conflict areas within the discipline(s).
  • Management/Leadership - direct and coordinate activities of department as it relates to staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties. Estabilish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures conferring with company officials and staff members as necessary
  • Writing Qualifications - Writer must be skilled at developing mechanical specifications, white papers and other technical documents.
  • Original Document Drafts - Writer must be creative and able to provide original document drafts while adhering to strict project deadlines.
  • Compliance - Writer must exhibit knowledge of approved technical documentation writing styles and methodologies within the industry; while keeping in compliance with departmental Documentation Standards and Practices.
  • Coordinate/Assist with RFI's, proposals,etc. - Writer must exhibit versatility by lending support with various (non-technical) types of supportive documents related to the industry.
Additional Skills:
  • Expertise in illustration software will be considered an additional plus.
  • Industry knowledge or experience with Toll System Integration,(RFID) radio frequency identification
  • Most importantly, must be willing to assess and align one's personal/professional goals for the purpose of making a significant contribution to our company


    Experience/Skills
    • BS degree or higher: BSME, BSEE, BSCS
    • 3 to 5 Yrs. exp. writing specifications, white papers, technical & engineering documents/proposals with 2 yrs minimum experience in a Team Lead position
    • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
    • Knowledge of electronics, electrical or advanced engineering and computer science
    • Experience with MS Suite, especially Word, Corel Draw, Viso and Auto CAD

      Other desired skills:
      • BS degree or higher: BSME, BSEE, BSCS
