We have an immediate need for an Teamcenter System Administrator.

-This is a temp to hire position-

JOB DESCRIPTION:
TeamCenter System Administration.

Job Responsibilities:
. Perform Teamcenter 2007/Multi-Site/NXManager and Teamcenter Community software (including custom software) installations, upgrades, setup, configurations and testing of software version releases.

. Manage Software Upgrades against many installations of Teamcenter in Development, Test, and Production Environments.

. Daily monitoring (or automation of daily monitoring) of Teamcenter system, including multi-site processes, volume space, cron jobs, and other processes. Response to any daily sysadmin issues or tasks that need to be taken care of.

. Automate repetitive installation/upgrade tasks.

. Document and keep up-to-date Teamcenter Configurations and installation processes.

. Support installation on desktop hardware/software as it relates to Teamcenter including device drivers.

. 24/7 support of Teamcenter production environment as it relates to TC sysadmin issues.

Basic Qualifications:
. Strong background in Administering TeamCenter Engineering Version 9 or up (3+ years), Teamcenter 2005/2007 a strong plus.

. Knowledge of Teamcenter Engineering Application.

. Oracle, Unix (both Sun and IBM), Websphere, Oracle, Windows XP Operating System, Windows 200x Active Directory (2+ years).

. Perl and Shell Scripting (1+ years).

. C/C++ nice but not required.

. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics or Engineering.

. Team Player, Customer Focus, Attention to Detail, Able to work closely with Programmers, Infrastructure and Help Desk Support personnel.

. Should have knowledge of engineering environment.

. Work well with other vendors.

. Willing to travel to remote client sites occasionally.

. Windows 200x Active Directory.

NOTE: Wants someone who understands the architecture of Teamcenter. They are doing a large deployment of TC and wants someone to come in and do some scripting, add users, and do some programming/developing within TC.
