Assignment Capsule
As a Technology applications consultant you will: design, perform coding, testing, implementation and support tasks in order to develop, maintain, and enhance computer solutions for business needs. You will also act as a group leader, partnering with project managers to transform business requirements into actual designs.


Interpret production trends and abnormalities in order to determine root causes

Answer incoming customer calls, resolving specific questions about specific applications

Create process improvements for various business segments

Participate in Humana's Disaster Recovery exercises

Role Essentials

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience

Experience with Job Control Language (JCL), COBOL, Easytrieve + and Operating System utilities and Panvalet

Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Access


Role Desirables

Previous experience with IBM Mainframes

Working knowledge of DB2, EZ Trieve, Web development,

Reporting Relationships

You will report to a Technology Manager. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Operating Officerdf-tc
