Assignment Capsule
Associate will be responsible for extracting/analyzing/modeling data on many different platforms, including mainframe, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Access, Excel and the internet. Associate will be working closely with the Markets and Management in response to ad hoc requests and data inquiries. A working knowledge of Medicare data is helpful. Minimal travel required to attend conferences and training sessions. At times, this associate will take on the project lead role. On other projects, this associate may be the sole owner and developer of a project.

Role Essentials
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
  • Solid SQL and database experience
  • 2 - 4 years Data Analysis experience
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn new software packages
  • Ability to understand and act in accordance with government and corporate regulations

    Role Desirables
  • Bachelor's Degree; concentration in Computer Systems or Mathematics a plus
  • IBM Mainframe experience
  • Oracle database experience, PL SQL
  • Prior experience in Health Insurance
  • Prior experience with Medicare

    The Business Analyst position is in the Data Analysis group of the Medicare Risk Adjustment department under the direction of the VP for Senior Products.df-tc
