Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has upcoming/future short term contract opportunities for Tech Support personnel working with our client in the Lenoir, NC area.


Responsibilities:
The role of a specialized technician can be widespread. Duties may include some or all of the following components:

Running bundled network cable on ladders, scaffolding, and/or lifts.
Plugging in (terminating) pre-bundled cable into network switches.
Properly dressing and neatening fiber per customer specifications.
Installing or removing computer components.

Requirements:

Be able to lift 40 pounds/20 kilos
Be able to understand and interpret technical drawings and/or blueprints
Basic computer skills (email, web) required.
Knowledge of use of barcode scanners
Be able to work on a ladder and/or under raised floor
Fluent in spoken and written local language
Reliable transportation to/from work location.
Good teamwork and communication skills
Must work in a Datacenter environment (noise/heat)
