Description
Will analyze information from customers to determine trends and formulate solutions, evaluate proposed computer hardware/software systems to determine technical feasibility, implementation cost and operation. He/She will perform technical functions such as user and server accounts management, evaluating software and tools, creating and deploying images, programming, providing users and technician support. Candidate may also create technical documents for customers, develop criteria for training and teach classroom sessions, create duty schedules, train field technicians, and manage the organization of the call center and related activities.

Requires a degree in Information Technology or related field (two years technical support experience may be substituted for each year of college). Three years in a Helpdesk environment; seven years in computer applications; one year scripting programming experience; two years task coordination. Computer Operating System certification. Working knowledge of the following: Relational Database Management System such as Oracle, Paradox, Microsoft Access, Lotus Notes. Program Languages such as Visual Basic, PERL. Microcomputing and Minicomputer Operating Systems, COTS Office Automation Applications, COTS Project Management, WAN/LAN fundamentals, TCP/IP fundamentals, Imaging Standards and National Security Standards.

Personnel must hold or be eligible to hold a security clearance at the Secret level.df-tc
