Our government client is seeking a contractor to work as a Senior Technical Analyst. The selected candidate will be a technical resource for project administrative responsibilities and complex analysis and design responsibilities. The main responsibilities of this position include the following: assist the project manager with project administrative activities, perform systems analysis and design, assist in the preparation for JAD (Joint Application Development) sessions with clients to collect user requirements and to develop detailed design; assist in the preparation of the User Requirements and Detailed Design documents; performing programming and other development related work as needed to support analysis and design; provide business and technical assistance for the project as needed.
A minimum of five years of software development and maintenance experience and business analysis experience is required. Candidate s should have experience in Mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, MVS JCL, DB2, MVS/JCL and TSO. Experience with HTML, XML, and XSL, Endevor, File Aid, and Xpediter is highly preferred.
