We are currently recruiting a Technical Architect for our client. This is a permanent position based in Chicago, IL.

Job Requirements: Education/Experience Required:
. Bachelors degree in software engineering or computer science; advanced degree desirable.
. Typically requires 10+ years of direct software development experience (software engineer, technical team leader, or architect).
. Expert level knowledge of software design and implementation, specifically in .NET, C#, SQL.
. Strong analytical capabilities for identifying and resolving engineering tradeoffs.
. Demonstrated leadership abilities in directing technical activities and documenting technical issues.
. Excellent time management, communications, decision-making, presentation and organization skills.
. Demonstrated commercial deployment of at least one software architecture for enterprise-class products. Strongly prefer .NET, C#
. Demonstrated experience working as a software architect or a senior technical team leader in a geographically distributed environment.
. Strong communication skills, listening skills, negotiation skills, comfortable with conflict management.
. Flexible hours to work with offshore development teams
. Willingness to travel (< 20%)
