The Edward Jones Information Systems (IS) division is seeking a Technical Consultant - J2EE Framework.

Responsibilities:
-Advise Information Systems Business Application and Infrastructure teams on the effective use of web technologies including: Weblogic and Tuxedo, JRun, iPlanet, Java, and JVM.
-Display thorough understanding and experience in Design and Development of the above technologies.
-Communicate technology decisions to Business personnel.
-Demonstrate Leadership experience and capabilities.
-Work as Technical Lead for Project Leaders and Developers.
-Provide 24X7 Production and Development support including beeper and weekend rotation.
-Participate in Web Performance Improvement efforts as needed.

Qualified applicants will have:
-A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or equivalent experience.
-Seven or more years experience implementing and supporting large-scale systems in a production environment.
-Three or more years experience in developing in WebLogic, JRun and iPlanet.
-The ability to produce documentation of technology solutions that can be used to guide others in implementations.
-Strong problem diagnosis and solving skills.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-Effective working in a team or as an individual contributor.
