Description
Genesis 10 seeks a Technical Engineer for a two year contract in the Milwaukee area ASAP.

.Partner with project teams to understand the application's technical and infrastructure requirements to assist with identifying, assessing, designing, and documenting technical infrastructure that meet business needs and align with enterprise principles and practices.
.Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and effective solution for the application's infrastructure design within project constraints.
.Responsible for identifying and communicating technical issues and risks associated with solutions and participate in infrastructure design reviews.
.Advocate enterprise technical engineering principles.
.Define, promote and encourage the use of engineering practices. Identify opportunities for new engineering practices. Provide consulting and coaching of the system blueprinting process.

Experience/Skills
.Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Information Systems or Computer Science required.
.Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
. Minimum of four years of engineering experience.
.Knowledge and proficiency across a broad spectrum of enterprise technologies that provide the technical platform for application solutions including web technology, application servers, middleware, database, operating systems, storage and networking.
.Familiarity with application development methodologies (e.g. System Blueprinting or equivalent) and the Unified Modeling Language. Ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguity.
.Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high degree of personal initiative and self motivation.
.Strong communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to influence others by building consensus among peers.
