Job Description:
Conduct provider training in electronic billing
Assist providers and electronic claim vendors in preparing and testing EMC files
Assist providers in resolving electronic claim issues and concerns by telephone or in person
Monitor new EMC providers and assist with billing problems and account issues
Process new EDI agreements
Act as first level of support for electronic billing.
Education and Typical Years Experience:
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- Previous (1-2 years) experience in claims processing desired.
- Previous (1-2 years) experience providing excellent customer service required - Ability to maintain production levels and quality goals.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of health care products, medical terminology, diagnosis and procedure coding, and coordination of benefits desired.
All other duties as assigned.
