CDI has an Immediate Need for a TECHNICAL ILLUSTRATOR

CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT (1 YEAR, COULD GO LONGER) IN GRAND RAPIDS, MI 49508

A Technical Illustrator proficient in the use of Adobe Illustrator to create isometric illustrations of office furniture for use in specification guides. The candidate must be comfortable with deadlines and work well with Marketing, Digital Composition and Product Illustration personnel. Desktop Publishing and CAD application experience would be a plus.

Skills and Abilities
-Adobe Illustrator expertise (MAC & PC)
-Strong attention to detail with a passion for accuracy
-Clear understanding of spatial relationships
-Creative approach to problem solving
-Ability to interpret rough sketches and markups
-Able to visualize an object from a verbal description
-Comfortable within the constraints of strict art standards
-Experience in converting CAD drawings into 2d art

Potential Candidates should possess the following experience
-Technical Illustrator
-CAD 3D modeler with artistic talent
-Computer Artist with mechanical drawing experiencedf-tc
