Technical Operations Center (TOC) Reporter


MUST HOLD ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE - INTERVIEWS NOW BEING SCHEDULED


CONTRACT TO DIRECT HIRE


Reporter's hours are: 2nd shift sun-wed or wed-sat (noon -10pm)


Position Description:


Prepare, consolidate and validate outage and service restoration events on the TSA IT Daily Status Report


Provide 0815 last 24 hour status report and special incident reports


Provide 24X7 command and Control Status Information for the Bridge Contract program including TSA organizations ie critical system outages, security events and emergency patch management and special interest items ie hurricane


Brief federal personnel special interest events and issues of applicable significance


Manage and validate production changes so no maintenance is conducted without prior approval. This is done on a daily basis


Provide command and control of enterprise outages and identify and notify the incident coordinator,


Perform troubleshooting and support incidents as required (eg, critical system outages, critical network outages, critical application outages, critical system outage, security events, and emergency patch management). This is done on a daily basis


Provide Computer Incident Reports and Root Cause Analysis reports for TSA Enterprise outage as specified by Unisys and TSA executives. This is done on an as-required basis


Act as 7x24 on-site focal point for TSA OIT staff when addressing service inquires and provide status updates, handle incident escalations after hours, or escalate events to key TSA and Unisys management teams. This is done on a daily and as-required basis


Provide proactive service and capacity trending, utilizing core enterprise monitoring tools


Provide verification and validation to confirm devices throughout the TSA Enterprise


Review and work intimately with Unisys resolver" groups to confirm validity of event logs which are reported in the with SLA performance review. This is done on a monthly basis


Provide customer view of enterprise services on a monthly basis


Ensure patches are applied to all Unisys managed equipment


Record and process Call Reports and Escalation Reports for TSA Outages and disseminate to the client for review


Collect various statistical and monitoring reports


Escalation of VIP issues to include interaction and focal point


Requirements

Skills, Education and Experience:


Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or equivalent science oriented discipline


MCSE 2003 certification or equivalent experience
