Description
Irvine, CA: Responsible for the leadership, implementation and delivery of a comprehensive recruitment and search process including the following: Establishing and maintaining procedures for permanent and temporary staffing requests for all full and part-time positions including professional, administrative, clerical and management positions. Conduct interviews with hiring manager to determine the responsibilities of each open position. Assisting the hiring managers with writing job specifications and ensuring compliance with job classification codes. Meeting expectations of all searches by qualifying internal candidates, sourcing external candidates through cost-efficient mediums and providing telephone screening of all candidates to ensure the basic job qualifications are met. Recommend qualified candidates to the manager for review. Contact candidates and hiring managers to coordinate all interview schedules with the applicants, search committee and appropriate executive level staff. Administer typing skills and MS Office testing for applicants when necessary. Monitor all hiring for I-9 validity.
Responsible for coordination of the relocations of applicants. Responsible for coordinating visa requirements. Conduct background and reference checks on final candidates. Prepare offer letter to final candidate once approved by the hiring manager and a verbal offer is accepted. Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed and submitted for payroll purposes. Communicate with applicants by sending acknowledgment postcards, applicant self-identification cards for Affirmative Action reports, thank you letters and decline letters to applicants. Monitor the advertising and recruitment budget.
Assist with other duties associated with Human Resources functions as directed by the Director of Human Resources. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
BS/BA in Human Resources, Psychology or communications. Preferred 3 - 5 years experience in recruiting. Strong communication experience.
Recruiter experience in sourcing, assessing, and interviewing candidates.
Ability to work with Internet sourcing, knowledge of newspaper ads, and other means of recruitment. Apply for this GREAT opportunity today !!!df-tc
