Description
Dimension & Scope:

This position is responsible for establishing as well as implementing consistent corporate recruiting practices and procedures. In addition this position will provide analysis and consultation to local Convergys recruiting operations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and recommend consistent recruiting and selection practices for Convergys deployment. Develop and manage key national vendor relationships. Implement selection practices that are in compliance with Convergys policy as well as EEO and ADA guidelines. Strengthen relationships among recruiting stakeholders to include local recruiting organizations, operational groups, training etc. Consult with local recruiting organizations in all facets of recruiting. Represent the Convergys recruiting function in internal (or external) discussions related to new initiative development. Coordinate recruiting and selection activities for key positions. Participate in new site selection and start-up activities.

Education & Professional Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field from a four-year college or university with at least two to ten years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Candidate Profile:
Must have proficiency with various software application programs including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Demonstrated functional expertise in Recruiting with thorough knowledge of all applicable labor and employment laws (to include EEO and ADA). Ability to generate new ideas and manage them into reality.
