We currently have an opportunity for a Contract Technical Recruiter in DTC for an ongoing contract. Technical Recruiter with experience recruiting for IT and Engineering positions. Need someone who is creative in sourcing candidates, and has a strong local network established. There is a high volume of requirements in a short time frame, so we need someone who has worked successfully in this type of environment. Need solid engineering, cable, telephony, network engineering recruiting experience. Provide adequate staffing throughout the system by: identifying sources of applicants; developing advertising campaigns; writing and placing advertisements and job postings; identifying and establishing rapport with referral sources; coordinating participation in and attending job fairs Promote equal opportunity employment by ensuring that each open position has a diverse slate of candidates. Ascertain applicants' qualifications by conducting interviews, tests, and reference checks; coordinate and record drug tests, MVR and criminal record checks Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment and applicant files; track ads and response rates and costs; maintain logs; compile and produce periodic reports as necessary Perform other duties as requested by supervisor Skills/Abilities and Knowledge Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner Ability to maintain confidentiality of information Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.) Knowledge of cable television products and services Knowledge of recruitment trends and technologies Knowledge of staffing and employment practices Vision ability: close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus Education (level and type) Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent experience
