Description
Tempus IT Staffing provides contract and permanent placement services of IT personnel in the Atlanta, GA market as well as nationally. We are currently seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our team in Atlanta, GA. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

. Recruit contract, permanent, and contract-to-permanent information technology personnel.

. Perform full-lifecycle recruiting duties including: sourcing, screening, resume submission, interview preparation, reference and background checking, and hiring. Also handle the following issues on a regular basis: hiring/firing/resignation, salary advances, salary/rate negotiation and increases, relocation, H-1/TN Visas, on-line skill assessments, offer letter preparation, references, background checks, arranging drug testing, etc.

. Source candidates using the following methods: referrals, networking, Internet, database mining, user groups, and job fairs.

. Utilize online job boards, such as: , , and . Utilize advanced Internet recruiting techniques, such as flipping and x-raying.

. Recruit professionals for positions including, but not limited to, the following IT disciplines: Java/J2EE, .Net, OOA/OOD, VB/ASP/SQL Server, Oracle, Delphi, C++, COBOL/DB2/CICS, AS/400/RPG, MQ Series, Oracle Financials, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Database Administration, Quality Assurance, Technical Writing, Configuration Management, Computer Operations, Production Control, Network Engineering/Administration, Project Management, Technical Support, etc.

. Use a methodological recruiting approach that ensures understanding of candidate strengths, motivations, wants, needs and desires.

. Manage relationships with active Tempus consultants to address potential client-site issues, as well as to increase opportunity for future candidate placement and candidate/client referrals.

. Perform new hire orientation for all newly hired consultants.

Experience/Skills
0-3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in IT. We will consider Jr. Level recruiters who are willing to learn aready to grow their careers. Strong attention to detail is a MUST. Must be proficient with MS Office and Windows.
