Technical Sales Executives

SBC currently has a Technical Sales Executive position available in your area. Total Compensation Range is 95,000 - 105,000 this includes base plus commission

This is a consultative sales position selling high-end networking services and products including integration, assessment and design, project mgmt, and on-site engineering to the Public Sector market. Must be an aggressive self starter who prospects and develops new business as well as manages and drives existing business. Must work effectively through all Core Sales Channels and SBC Datacomm channels.

? Responsible for full account mgmt, acting as team leader to work with Sales Engineers, Inside Sales Reps, and Project Mgmt Technology Specialists to achieve and exceed sales quotas.

? Establishes and maintains relationships with vendor partners and Identify opportunities to sell Data, Voice CPE, and Professional Services

? Develop and maintain relationships with clients at the CXO level by providing outstanding customer service

? 5+ years successful experience technical sales, strong current knowledge of data networking products and services such as routers, Layer 2 and 3 switching, network consulting, LANs, WANs, Internet and network mgmt services

? Strong written and verbal communication, comfortable with upper mgmt as well as technical level communication

? 3+ years of successful telecommunication sales experience required, with demonstration of meeting 100% sales objectives in sales of the following:

? knowledge of Frame Relay, Sonet and other data transport technologies among the Customer Premise Equipment
