The Technical Sales Executive is responsible for the technical planning, research, design and sale of data solutions for assigned Enterprise Accounts. The position is responsible for positioning SBC and applicable Data products and services. The Technical Sales Executive will have Data Network Revenue responsibility for their account module. Success requires the ability to meet and establish relationships with customers, gather data to identify needs and opportunities, designing and proposing a solution and closing the sale. Required understanding of Sonet, DWDM, Frame Relay, ATM, Ethernet, Optical, Private Line DS1, DS3, OC-3, VoIP, IP, Internet, WAN, Gigaman, LAN, & MAN. The TSE works hand in hand with core Account Managers to grow the data transport revenue within all assigned modules. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, motivated, team player that can identify opportunities, navigate resources, and accept task ownership. Familiarity with the following equipment manufacturers is desired: Cisco, Nortel, Adtran, and Telco Systems.

Compensation includes base plus commission.df-tc
