Description
The Technical Services Project Manager is responsible for managing a team that supports the hardware and software infrastructure. The individual directs the activities of the staff to research, design, plan and implement software and hardware that meets strategic business requirements. The individual recommends corporate strategies for new technology and plays a lead role in the development and enforcement of corporate technology standards. A current, stable and reliable environment is necessary to provide the users of business applications access to the tools they need to support our stores, distribution centers and customer support centers. A strong background in quality and process improvement is needed for this position.

Experience/Skills
8 years experience in disk management, tape management, CPU capacity planning and mainframe hardware mgmt. 8 years experience in software maintenance in a large IBM mainframe environment. Experience with contract negotiations and contract terms with the large vendors. Personnel management experience related to performance managment, personal development and coaching. Financial management experience developing capital and expense budgets related to personal hardware and software management.
