Description
AS400 Personnel is actively searching for a Technical Services Manager on behalf of a client in Buffalo, NY. Select candidate will develop, plan, and implement the overall strategic goals of the corporate network systems, including all data and voice networked and telecommunications systems. Leads a team of Administrators and Technicians in support of the daily operations of the Technical Services group.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hire, train and schedule all subordinate personnel as well as enforce all company and departmental policies.
Responsible for the installation, support and maintenance of all network and end-user equipment, and the testing and evaluation of new equipment and computer networks.
Evaluate and recommend changes to current and future network and telecommunications requirements to meet the organization's needs.
Maintain a working knowledge and practical application of information security principles and practices as they relate to their job responsibilities. Proactively assess potential risks and vulnerabilities within the environment.
Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.

REQUIREMENTS:
Equivalent to the completion of four years of college coursework in computer science, management information systems, or a closely related field or equivalent work experience.
Microsoft MCSE certification with professional certification in telecommunications preferred.
IBM iSeries (AS400) Technical Certification preferred.
PMP Project Management Certification from PMS is preferred.
8 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory position performing similar duties as described above required.
Experience with Windows network environment including Windows clients and Servers and Cisco Switches required.
Experience with wiring schemas including optic fiber is required.
Knowledge of email server administration required, preference given to Microsoft Exchange.
Experience with PBX and Voicemail systems is preferred.
Experience with IBM iSeries (AS400) environment, commands, and utilities are preferred.
Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.

Salary of $75,000 to $85,000. This position offers moving reimbursement and temporary lodging.
