High Level Job Description:
Assists with the administration and/or support of routine computer systems or databases. Resolves routine to moderately complex issues regarding operations, including administration, installations, setups, error messages, on-line transactions, system status and downtime procedures, etc. Ensures user satisfaction by providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and quickly resolving routine problems. Goals and objectives are assigned by an immediate supervisor. Work performed depends on others for direction, instruction, and guidance. Typically requires 2 - 4 years experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 - 4 years experience.

Job Description:
The key responsibilities will be to interface with the Food and Beverage Client, Client, Client and Food and Beverage North America business teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
This includes supporting software and hardware upgrades, researching user related questions, supporting interfaces from WMS to SAP, and partnering with Red Prairie and the Food and Beverage Support Center.
The key to success for this role will be your proven ability to dig in and research data related questions that can lead you into the heart of the Red Prairie WMS application.
We are looking for the type of person who knows how to put on their detective hat, roll up their sleeves, ask the right questions and come up with the answers.

Primary purpose is to support WMS related operations for Client and Food and Beverage Client WMS sites.
Assist with WMS system upgrades from version 4.2 to DLX 2005.1 Work with customers to identify issue, escalate if needed, and ensure resolution.
Perform system administration and enhancement tasks when needed.
Perform general diagnostics and trouble shooting.
Resolve general system set-up, hardware functionality issues and general application usage problems.
Document all issues and system changes in call tracking system.
Effectively escalate designated calls to the appropriate level, using the knowledge of Food and Beverage Support Center escalation procedures. Assist in training Food and Beverage Support Center to ensure quality customer support.
Identify and execute recommendations for internal continuous process improvement for the support team
Responsibilities include 24x7 production support on a rotational basis, researching and resolving data related issues, maintaining WMS application and interfacing with cross-functional teams in support of issue resolution and minor enhancements.
Develop and manage test cases.
Partner with WMS business team to obtain User Acceptance signoff prior to production implementations.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field OR equivalent experience
. At least one year of software programming experience (and/or equivalent course work) and a sound knowledge base of the following technologies:
Development platforms (experience with one or more of the following languages:
C/C ++, Java, Visual Basic, VB.net), Operating systems (experience with Windows and Unix operating systems), Relational database (experience with Oracle and SQL Server).
Ability to travel 30- 50% of the time. This position requires heavy travel commitments in the initial 4 to 6 months.
Previous experience in a customer support role using an issue tracking system to document calls.
Warehouse Management System experience, preferably Red Prairies DM+ or DLx.
Technical aptitude and knowledge of computer hardware and terminology to assist in problem determination and resolution.
Excellent problem solving skills, particularly with regard to anticipating and solving problems, issues, or concerns before they occur or become critical.
Strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills with internal and external customers.
This position will at times involve providing training to new team members and Food and Beverage Support Center analysts.
Able to work effectively both alone and in team/cooperative development efforts.
Able to learn supply chain concepts and progress in technical and general business skills.
Understanding the significance and business impact of an automated manufacturing or distribution system to properly determine severity.
Highly self-motivated and self-managed, with excellent prioritization, organizational, problem solving and change management skills.
Ability to work evenings and weekends when assigned.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.df-tc
