This position will work on client'simplementation of the Making Home Affordable initiative which is part of the Housing Affordability and Stability Plan. The team is located in Dallas, TX and works with our lender partners to ensure they are signed up for the many different loss mitigation initiatives

The Senior Support Specialist role is expected to provide technical assistance to our lender partners and external vendors with regard to the Home Affordable Modification Program (HMP) and assisting servicers with the Servicer Registration Process for the HMP Program
  • Answer lender/vendor telephone and email technical questions in a timely manner.
  • Participate in 24/7 Pager Support Rotation
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve technical problems
  • Propose enhancements, monitors, reports, etc. to improve Technical Operations.
  • Ability to conduct SQL queries to create ad hoc reports to resolve technical issues or to create management reports.
  • Develop strong relationship with business and development teams in an effort to Remedy technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Recommend improvements to existing loss mitigation systems in an effort to improve the end user experience
Qualifications:
Must-Have Skills:
  • Should have at least 3 years experience with BEA WebLogic
  • Should have at least 3 years experience with UNIX and/or LINUX
  • 3 years working knowledge with SQL and databases (Oracle and Sybase)
  • Should have at least 3 years experience with Scripting languages
  • Technical support experience in mortgage banking desirable
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Nice to Have Rational ClearQuest and ClearCase
  • Nice to Have Remedy
  • Nice to have familiarity with mortgage industry, and loss mitigation functionality
Qualification
Associate degree with 4-6 years of experience or 2-4 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree.

Intermediate knowledge of PC usage and related software packages. 3 (Moderately Strong) of 5 (Expert)
Knowledge of SQL for querying databases. 4 (Very Strong) of 5 (Expert)
Strong communication skills (written and verbal). 4 (Very Strong) of 5 (Expert)
