Technical Support Manager, Help Desk Manager, IT Manager, VOIP, Telecom,

Based in Irvine, CA, an international software company is looking for a Technical Support Manager with a telecom background. This position offers great room for growth, development and an outstanding opportunity to work in a dynamic and fun environment!

Responsibilities:

- Manage a team of 7-9 help desk support engineers

- Implement policies and procedures regarding how problems are identified, received, documented, distributed, and corrected.

- Ensure maximum issue resolutions in minimum time.

- Evaluate new information systems products or services and suggests changes to existing products or services to better aide the end user.

Must have skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience.

- Must have 3-5 years experience managing teams in a technical support/customer service environment.

- Experience of the latest network and desktop operating systems remote management and monitoring and help desk software.

- At least 6 years in technical product support or information systems environment supporting business-to-business customers.

- Requires 3+ years experience with at least 2 of the following: Network (LAN or WAN), Firewalls, Computer Support Operations, Service Level Agreements, 24/7 support, Product Development, Unix, or NT/2000.

- Excellent verbal and written communications with outstanding analytical and problem solving skills are essential to represent this position.
