Description


Our client utilizes web based applications at their clients locations all across America.

It would be your responsibility as the Technical Support Manager to answer questions from System Analyst at these locations with problems that they have recieved from end users that they could not resolve on their own.

All of the applications are web based and we do require prior experience supporting web based applications

Experience/Skills
Bachelor's Degree preferred


2 years + experience in a help desk or technical support environment or equivalent consulting experience supporting web based applications.


Strong knowledge of system and database administration principles. Oracle and MS SQL*Server Database Knowledge including troubleshooting, configuration, maintenance and tuning.


Working knowledge of IIS and/or Apache web server


Understanding of Internet application technologies including; HTML, XML, Internet protocols, networking, firewalls, Web Server configurations, Internet application architectures based upon Java technology and Internet security are needed.


Experience in a self-directed work environment


Demonstrated ability to research and resolve problems using a variety of resources and tools


Strong verbal and written communication skills



Other desired skills:
