Adecco Technical is searching for a Technical Support Rep. for our client in Tustin, CA. Education:  4 year bachelors degree in electronics/electrical engineering Responsibilities:  This position is accountable for answering telephone 'hot line' or written inquiries from customers regarding client products  Analyzes problems with non-functioning electro/mechanical equipment to identify problem area(s) and recommend corrective action  Recommends solutions to customer application questions  Maintains a log of problems so that recurring problems can be reported to engineering Requirements:  3-6 Months Experience in Electrical Facilities Maintenance a Plus  Understanding of Electric Metering Principles  Ability to wire test cabinets from a schematic including soldering circuits and wiring PCs  Understands Electrical Safety  Understanding of Electronic Metering Systems, POWERLOGIC preferred  Understanding of Lighting Control Systems, POWERLINK preferred  Understanding of Network Communication Systems  Proficient with Microsoft Operating Systems, computer installs  NT/2000/XP/2000 Server  Understanding of the Utilization of Databases, SQL-2000 Preferred  Problem Solving and Troubleshooting  Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills Non standard hours between 7:30AM and 7PM may be required.
