Technology Firm in Long Island Seeks a Seasoned Technical Support Representative preferably with video surveillance/CCTV experience.

What you need to have:
- 3-5+ years of Technical Support/Help Desk experience
- Certifications: A+, MCSE, MCP, Networking +
- Experience troubleshooting both hardware and software in a Windows environment
- Experience with TCP/IP, Subnet masking, DHCP and Firewalls, Routers, Switches, sniffers, SAN, NAS, NAT etc.
- CCTV, digital video, video codecs, digital recording and video transmission a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, as well as presentation skills
- Ability to travel up 25% of the time

What you will be doing:
- Assisting with the installation, troubleshooting, servicing, and project management of systems, both on-site and via telephone
- Providing telephone, fax, e-mail and on-site factory technical support and representation with aggressive follow-up and problem resolution
- Conducting training sessions and workshops and assisting with product seminar and trade show set-up, teardown, and representation
- Conducting on-site factory certification and acceptance testing on system installations and generating trip reports and punch-lists
- Performing site surveys and determining conceptual requirements of system designs and implementing with the support of Project Engineering, Technical Support and Inside Sales groups
