Description
Our client, a leading provider of Information Security software applications to enterprises, governments and service providers, is seeking a front-line Technical Support Specialist.
This person will be responsible for responding to customer email and phone inquiries, troubleshooting problems, training users, managing upgrades and migrations.

This position requires excellent technical skills pertaining to IT infrastructure, Operating Systems, Applications, Information Security Technologies and Best Practices, as well as exceptional personal and organizational skills.
The successful applicant will be customer-focused and detail-oriented, with strong written and oral communications skills.



Must be US Citizen or Resident Alien/Green Card holder.

Education, Experience and skills requirements



Bachelor's degree preferred.



2-5 years' work experience with direct customer contact, either in a vendor/ reseller environement supporting enterprise application software, information security products, OR help desk / systems administration in an end user environment.





Experience with the following products required:

Windows 2000/XP/Vista

Windows 2000 Server

Windows 2003 Server

Microsoft Active Directory (E-Directory, Novell a plus)

GPO

SMS

SQL Server Manager

SSL Certificate understanding

VMWare (Other Virtual Machine products)

Standard MSOffice products

CRM (Salesforce.com)



Experience with the following products preferred

Mac OS

PDA's (specifically Windows Mobile 5, 6 and 6.1 / Palm OS)

Symantec Ghost

McAfee Enterprise Suite

Symantec Endpoint Protection

Altiris

Digital Forensics - Encase, Helix, etc.

Other encryption software (Safeboot, McAfee, Guardian Edge, etc)df-tc
