DESCRIPTION
The Systems/Technical Support Consultant will support mission-critical applications, which will include substantial customer contact (via conference calls). Off-hours shift work and weekend work will be required. Some over time will also be required from time-to-time, depending on the situation.

The position supports Common Services Interface (CSI) a Middleware product that handles transactions between the mobility department and internal and external mobility partners. The position will involve monitoring, triage and outage management for CSI, downstream applications and CSI clients.

Qualifications:
  • Very strong problem solving and communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • Strong technical skills required to resolve technical issues; strong knowledge of SQL Scripting will be required
  • A general knowledge of some of the following technologies will be required: Unix, Windows, XML, Unix Scripting, IP-based networks, Firewalls/VPNs and cellular technology
  • Experience working in telecommunications outage management desired
  • Extreme flexibility regarding hours, shifts and overtime
