We have an immediate need for a Technical Writer

Role Purpose:
.Responsible for developing technical security settings documentation for key infrastructure assets
.Documentation will be generated by merging and rationalizing information from industry standards, research, and subject matter experts.
.Collaborate with subject matter experts to gain alignment on documented information
. Assist with the review and update of technical specifications

Required Experience:
.Prior relevant professional work experience in maintaining and developing technical documentation
.Broad technical knowledge and/or other platform knowledge
.IT security background and SharePoint knowledge is a plus!

Role Description:
.Develop set of documentation for specific infrastructure assets
.Develop a system for managing specific technical security information and documentation
.Develop a process for collecting, reviewing, updating documentation
.Work to avoid redundant work efforts with other key initiatives
.Track and report work effort progress

Position Requirements:
Possesses technical writing experience in one of the following areas: user manuals, documentation of systems or programs, training manuals, operational run books, installation guides, methods and procedures manuals, and articles regarding technical subject matter, eg, products, systems, and facilities for technical newsletters or magazines. Interfaces with users, developers, trainers or trainees to update/revise documentation to reflect the most effective and concise terminology, best methods and practices (exercises), and new software features.
