Acentron is seeking a Technical Writer for a contract opportunity in Aliso Viejo, CA to document disaster recovery procedures. The writer will be responsible for planning, designing, researching, writing and editing technical process scripts, including user guides, technical specifications and user policies. Additional responsibilities include developing standard formatting layouts, establishing and maintaining documentation standards and creating documentation for technical end users and system administrators.
Requirements include a Bachelor s degree and 4 years of technical writing and editing experience documenting software and hardware systems. Qualified candidates must have a background in technology and experience developing technical procedures scripts. Excellent oral and written communication skills with proficiency in MS Office products.
Some travel may be required to company's other locations.
