The technical writer will be responsible for helping to clearly document the functional and infrastructure aspects of the Data Director application. This position will need to work closely with all areas of the Data Director team and will be asked to write both user facing and internal documents across a variety of subject areas.

.



POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES (General description)

Document the Data Director infrastructure and infrastructure related processes

Document the Data Director functional units

Help with the documentation of user guides for the various modules of Data Director

Work alongside onsite BAs to review functional specifications for new features






SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:



Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good analytical skills, evidenced by documenting complex workflows in a clear, understandable manner.

Ability to work independently and plan/prioritize their own workload.

Understanding of technical architecture.








EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:


Experience documenting large scale IT applications

Experience working in an open source environment

Preferred:

- BA Degree

- Experience working in the educational industry

- Experience working with large scale data analysis systemsdf-tc
