A well qualified candidate is needed to join Humana in a Technology Application Consultant role. In this role, the successful candidate will actively participate in the development and maintenance of various insurance support systems.

To be considered for this position, candidates require background and experience in the Microsoft Development environment. Additional experience with the IBM mainframe environment is desired.

The ideal candidate will:
possess a strong understanding of the health insurance industry
be familiar with Sales, Underwriting and Actuarial terminology
easily interact within a cross-functional team structure
have application development and analysis experience

Requirements include:

Bachelor's degree
Development experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and/or .NET
Development experience in traditional mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, DB2, MQ Seriesdf-tc
