We currently have an opportunity for a Technology Consultant to plan, analyze, design, construct, test, and implement new data feeds.
DESCRIPTION:
Collects user requirements
Reviews existing systems code and documentation (where applicable)
Profiles and reviews existing data availability and quality
Prepares documentation for all of the above in accordance with requirements and guidelines
Flexible hours (evening and weekend work may be required at times)
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Excellent receptive and expressive verbal communication skills (ILR Level 4+ or better)
Excellent written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
3-5 years of development experience with Informatica Power Center and Power Exchange
3-5 years of requirements definition and business analysis experience
Track record of accurate work estimation and on time, on budget project completion
Minimum 3 years SQL experience
Minimum 3 years Oracle experience
Minimum 1 year Unix Scripting experience
Complex logical reasoning skills
Highly accurate and detail oriented
Able to stay on track in potentially distracting, dynamic group setting
Readily accepts direction
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of health care claims and membership data
Experience reading and translating logic from SQL Server DTC, stored procedures and functions into Informatica design
Experience reading and translating logic from Mainframe JCL, Cobol to Informatica design
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree
