Description
This group is in need of a contractor who is a Telecom person with CAD experience OR a CAD person with Telecom experience. This position is primarily responsible for the documentation modification of existing circuits being groomed to the new Alcatel-Lucent Network in the Carolinas. Experience with system analysis, design, and configuration of transport network infrastructure solutions for voice, data, video, SCADA and alarm applications is required. This position is expected to be the analyst level, communicating with other team members to achieve goals and complete assignments. As a technical and functional analyst, this position applies technical and functional skills, independently achieves goals and completes assignments with little instruction. Experience with a wide variety of transport devices and systems including, but not limited to, DWDM, SONET, TDM and the associated equipment manufactures Experience in designing transport network infrastructure in a combination of the following: Utility Enterprise telecom circuit design Analog and digital circuit design for voice, data, video and SCADA applications Channel bank, DACS, multiplexing, and CSU/DSU technologies Digital Services (DS0, DS1, DS3, Frame Relay) Fiber optic and SONET technologies. Digital and analog microwave system design. Knowledge of equipment and facility grounding methods and industry standards Proficient with Visio and Microstation. Working ability with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Exchange, etc.), Experience with a wide variety of transport devices and systems including, but not limited to, DWDM, SONET, TDM and the associated equipment manufactures is preferred.df-tc
