Description
Need 2 IN ORLANDO AND 2 IN MIAMI

Youll be installing, testing and turning up Customer Premise/Transport equipment (SONet and Microwave systems) including AC & DC power. Works from CAD drawings, engineering specifications, construction packages and other drawings. Completes As-Built drawings during and at the completion of projects. Conduct site surveys and assist in specifying equipment requirements for installations. Help coordinate the resolution of multiple/ complex installation, maintenance and repair projects. Help coordinate, analyze and select troubleshooting and testing procedures. Analyze test results and coordinate resolutions. May function in a lead capacity for projects of minor scope and complexity.

Essential Duties
Install telecom equipment and supporting structure equipment and services.After completion of installation of market, perform day-to-day maintenance activities and turn-up of new traffic. Coordinate, analyze, select and perform trouble shooting and testing required for problem resolution and equipment turn-up.Coordinate activities and interface with customers, contractor, vendors and manufacturers representatives for the successful completion of work assignments.Conduct site surveys and specify equipment requirements for the installation of customer premise and transport equipment.Coordinate with Materials and Stores personnel for inventory and delivery of materials to job sites. Assist in departmental projects and perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:
Knowledgeable of telecommunications inside plant construction practices, DC power plan and generator systems. Working knowledge of national telecommunications and power codes (TIA/EIA, OSHA, NESC, ASME, ANSI, NEMA, etc). Demonstrated knowledge of SONet, TDM, DWDM, Fiber Optics, Microwave systems, alarm systems, digital cross connects and other WAN protocols. Proficiency in telecommunications transport protocols including OC48, OC192,and DWDM (Nortel , Ceragon microwave, Alcatel, Jungle Mux & Pulsar). Must have proven track record in Hot Cut-overs with traffic bearing system.
