Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Telecommunication Specialist to join our team in Northridge, CA.

Job Responsibilities:
Troubleshoots problems associated with telephone switches, PBX, or telephones. Completes internal moves, adds or changes in a timely, efficient manner. May include software programming, cross connect changes, and hardware moves. Responds to trouble calls as assigned by the Help Desk and the Remedy ticketing system. Contacts outside vendors and coordinates installation, maintenance, and upgrades.

Required Skills:
  • 3+ years knowledge of Nortel opton 11, 61 & 81 PBX's.
  • 3+ years knowledge of Call Pilot & Octel voicemail systems.
  • 2+ years knowledge of physical cable plants.

    Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of Norstar key systems.
  • Knowledge of Call Center Manager.

    Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
  • Prefer Nortel Telecom Certifications.
