POSITION SUMMARYUnder the general direction of the Technical IT Manager, the Telecommunications Administrator will be responsible for all aspects of Avaya phone system for the Sun Financial Services located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Primary responsibilities include administration of Avaya Voice over IP (VoIP) servers, support, and manage the Contact Center Express application and administration of the entire VoIP system. Responsibilities also include preparing Disaster Recovery standard practices, monitoring licenses, and monitoring and maintaining equipment inventories. Responsibilities Maintain Avaya Contact Center Express, AES, Witness, eCAS, IVR, and Voice Modular Messaging Servers, applying patches, updates, etc. Schedule and maintain routine data backup. Identify and diagnose problems; evaluate whether they are service affecting, and establish priorities for resolution, especially when there are concurrent troubles. Create/modify/maintain/manage routine queries and reports from Avaya, CMS, ECAS, and Witness as required. Responsible for ensuring the proactive management of Avaya applications to provide utmost availability, performance and efficiency. Manage PBX station moves, adds, changes. ACD/Agent Administration. (Logins, Vectors, VDN s, etc). Modular Messaging administration, administers changes to phone tree, and manage the modular messaging system. Manage/maintain the entire Avaya VoIP system in the SFS including scheduling repairs or replacement of VoIP Cisco switches, Avaya phones, phone cables, and headsets, etc.Remote Support Duties Remote administration includes performing add, moves, changes, and coordinating maintenance on Definity phone systems in other locations outside the Cincinnati area. Work with outside contractors to replace older PBX phone systems. Work with carriers to install or disconnect DSL lines as needed.
