PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Telecommunications Analyst is responsible for the installation, problem diagnosis, repair and maintenance of a full range of telecommunications equipment encompassing both analog and digital technologies. The analyst addresses issues of availability and reliability for core PBX products as well as adjunct services and processors. The analyst works with other IT groups to insure compatibility.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
*Diagnose and repair equipment as assigned from system level to bench or component replacement.
*Respond to job assignments such as work orders, engineering changes, and trouble calls as required.
*Perform installation and testing of new products individually or as part of a team.
*Analyze component requirements of new and upgraded systems.
*Develop documentation to support current and to test planned equipment configurations.
*Provide on-the-job training to user or other technical personnel.
*Insure adherence to and documentation of routine maintenance schedules.
*Provide planning and technical support for enterprise installations as required.
*Perform at or above the enterpriseâ??s IT performance standards.
*Perform adds, moves and changes to support corporate offices.
*Support Meridian PBXs and Norstar, Voice mail systems, IPC Trading, NICE and Dictaphone Recording Equipment, and OTM Call Accounting and MeetingPlace Voice and Data Conferencing for domestic and international offices.

QUALIFICATIONS
*High school diploma or equivalent
*3 years experience with PBX and phone systems
*Ability to communicate effectively dealing with internal and external customers and suppliers
*Prior experience with large to very large enterprise environments that include multiple site locationsdf-tc
