Description
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support to the Bank's standard Nortel telephony platform including Norstar, Option 11, Option 61c and 81c.
- Provide support for the Bank's call scheduling package, call monitoring software and Symposium routing application for the Bank's Customer Contact Center, Retail Branch Network and other end user groups.
- Work closely with third party vendors and carriers to report and resolve telephony issues.
- Troubleshoot remotely, ISDN, T1 and Centrex issues with end user and provide problem resolution.
- The Support Specialist may work closely with the Engineering and Installation staff for the purpose of testing new LAN technologies while establishing the standards for the Information Systems Department.
- The Support Specialist at times has administrator rights for various software platforms.
- Minimal use of personnel transportation to support the Bank's end user groups within the local area.
